About us

First Place is a local and family-owned business offering an intimate, private event and multipurpose center for all kinds of events and meetings, priced very affordably.

We are conveniently located in the Business District of Maple Heights on Broadway Avenue, in a private and quaint building with free parking behind the building.

First Place can accommodate your next small event and we are a venue that allows you to bring in and prepare your own food!

First Place is complete with a full-service kitchen, 6-burner commercial stove, microwave, refrigerator, two private restrooms (men & women), and beverage center.

Your rental at First Place will provide you with exclusive use of the hall.

Rental fees

Please call for hourly rental rates

There is a 4-hour minimum rental

 

Rental time does not includes decorating and clean up time. Please see the contract for the time allowed.

 

All fees must be paid in cash or money order, no personal checks accepted.

Bring in your own food, or prepare it in our full-service kitchen using all appliances.

A full beverage center with a bar is available.

All beverages brought into the center and served must be FREE.

Licensed security personnel is required

You are welcome to decorate with your own supplies. Facility does not provide.

First Place Event and Multipurpose Center Staff will:

  • Open and close the facility

  • Set up the room

  • Ensure all bathroom and kitchen supplies are made available

  • Review the operation of all facility equipment and inform of all amenities
